Northwind Support Automation
An internal demonstration workflow showing how inbound support requests can be classified, routed, and prepared for response automatically.
Business Challenge
A growing volume of inbound requests was taking too long to triage manually, delaying responses to time-sensitive issues.
Project Objectives
- Automatically classify incoming requests by topic and urgency
- Route requests to the correct team without manual sorting
- Prepare draft responses for human review rather than full automation
Proposed Solution
A workflow demonstration combining validation, AI-assisted classification, CRM record creation, team notification, and a human approval checkpoint before any reply is sent.
Design Approach
An interactive workflow diagram showing each stage as a distinct, explorable node, making the automation logic transparent rather than hidden inside a black box.
Technical Implementation
Built with a Node.js processing pipeline, an AI classification step, and a PostgreSQL-backed record store, with clear human-in-the-loop checkpoints before any outbound action.
Feature Highlights
- Automated intake validation
- AI-assisted classification
- CRM sync
- Human approval checkpoint
Technologies Used
This project is presented as a demonstration build to illustrate our approach. No specific business results, user counts, or revenue figures are claimed.
